Car parking in Harlingen
From the Afsluitdijk (A7) you follow the N31. If you are arriving from Leeuwarden, follow the A31. Via the ANWB signs you get directed to the ferry port of Harlingen. Enter ‘Waddenpromenade 5, 8861 NT Harlingen’ on your GPS for the correct route to the port of Harlingen.
Harlingen is easily reached by train. The train from Leeuwarden has regular departures to Harlingen. From the “Harlingen Haven” station you can walk to the ferry terminal in about five minutes. You can charge your OV chip card at a service point at the train station and at the Albert Heijn grocery store, opposite the train station.
